A. Coat? With a hood and little fur ears on the top? It looks like it'll be easy to have unbuttoned for the Chest Rock Safety, too, and Vildred quickly undoes the buttons and throws it over Ras' shoulders before pulling the hood up over his head.

I know you don't need coats, but I figured it would be good for the winter. Someone told me it gets pretty frigid, even when you're not on top of a mountain. ...what do you think?

[ Ras blinks dumbly at Vildred as the coat is placed on him. He doesn't move, and simply allows this to happen. Only when he's finished does he look at it properly. It's very white, but fuzzy. It reminds him a bit of Arky... He does miss his Guardian friend dearly.

Ras thinks for a moment, then grabs a couple of the leaves that Vildred picked from his hair back up and brushes them across his own cheeks for a moment, then reaches them over to do the same to Vildred's. ]

[Vildred has... no earthly fucking clue what that means, but the way the leaves tickle against his cheeks make him snort-laugh.]

And what's that mean, exactly? That it's tickling you?

[ Realistically, Vildred could've given him literally anything. A coat, some jewelry, a rock, some paper - he would've been happy with any of it, even if some of those things he doesn't care for. But it isn't the gift that makes him happy, it's the thought that Vildred is thinking of him... ]

Tickling can make some people laugh. I'm pretty ticklish. Other people don't like it because it doesn't feel good to them. Those people probably wouldn't describe happiness as "tickling" them.

I see. Is it because I wear white clothes? I suppose you and I contrast in that regard...

[ He just sort of leans into Vildred's hand when he brushes the leaf over him, clearly not understanding the assignment. ]

The happiest I've been in a while is knowing you escaped that place, though. Honestly, if you didn't make it up to the peak, I would've charged back into that place looking for you.

…I am hardly surprised to hear, but I do hope you would not put yourself in harm’s way for my sake. [ Ah, Vildred. There’s only one thing Ras wants changed about him. I could be warmer, I suppose, but I'll live. That's what the two jackets are for.
