["Upset"? No no. He's raking his gaze over Ras in a way that's new to both of them, akin to a parched man staring at a bottle of water. Something in the nervous twitch in his tail says want, desire, and the careful scrrtch of his dragon claws against the wall say restraint. Ras asks to be kissed again, and Vildred obliges immediately, not having much of an idea of what he's doing other than what he saw earlier.

It does not stop curious hands from moving to hold Ras up by the combined strength of hands under his ass and hips pressing the Heir of the Covenant himself into the cold plaster of the wall. Redoubled effort. Completely unnecessary amounts of effort here.

Ras is getting his mouth licked into. Terribly sorry, apparently Vildred's gay awakening has snapped something Else awake in his brain.]

[ Ras has never weighed much. Likely a strategic decision on Diche's part - taking less damage from falls and needing basically no magic at all to float. It means that for Vildred, it's not hard to keep him up. Between his support and the wall, and maybe a little bit of floatiness from Ras, it's easy to pay less attention to hoisting Ras and more on the kiss itself. That said, though, Ras does take the time to properly wrap his legs around Vildred the moment he starts to lick into Vildred's mouth.

He's a lot more confident about trying things this time. He still isn't sure what he's doing, but he opens his mouth when prompted without hesitation, and meets Vildred's tongue with his own. It's... messy, he thinks. It's also very warm, though? His own mouth is relatively warm, too, with a sort of viscous "saliva", but it's not nearly as warm as, say, his soul gem is. Realistically, Ras could keep his legs wrapped around him even if they moved to the couch/bed/etc. However, it isn't like Ras can 1) read minds, or 2) speak right now. [ He cannot help the small laugh at both Vildred's question and their positions as a whole. They had always been physically affectionate with one another, but this feels... surreal. Vildred knows the things he's done, Vildred knows he isn't the perfect being the humans thought, Vildred knows that he's clumsy and not very bright. And yet, he's still... ]

[Vildred pauses briefly to reach back and pull his hair tie out, and with that now out of his way, he starts undoing his tie with one hand too. Ras has a front row seat to this before Vildred puts both items aside and then goes back to hovering over the other man.]

[He knows the gist of what he wants to do — hard not to at least have an instinctual idea, he doesn't live under a rock — but executing it... And Ras liking it too? He has to make sure.]

[Obviously. He has ideas. More than Ras has, because Ras didn't grow up around gossipy knights who would spend their time in the barracks talking about the head they got. Vildred wouldn't say he got irritated with that talk, but he definitely was the sort to get up from the table when it veered into raunchy territory.

[ Well, it's not the first time the two of them had learned something together. Or even been physical with one another, realistically.

[It seems silly to say when they're both on a relatively even playing field, but here he is. And now he has to commit to it for real now, not that him backing out was ever a concern, but now his pride is on the line. He has to deliver.

[ There is still a hesitancy to Ras that he can’t quite pinpoint. He doesn’t understand these feelings that seem to weigh on him. Ras is generally very simple when it comes to these things. Happy, sad, anger, fear, love. It wasn’t often he branched off from those. But now there’s something that settles in his stomach — or lack thereof. It feels somewhat akin to the guilt of not telling the others about the resets, but more… vague?

He does not plan to stop Vildred, of course. He thinks maybe he’s just worried because he doesn’t want to mess anything up because he’s new at this! Clearly it’s because he wants Vildred to have a good time with him and nothing else. It’s definitely not that lingering guilt that he was created to stop a war he’s failed to stop for a world loved far more by Vildred himself than Ras realistically does. Vildred has asked him before, how important saving Orbis was to him. It was Ras’ first and only lie — spurred on purely by Diche’s love of Orbis.

“I’d give everything to protect it.”

He would not. He could not. If he loses Vildred, he would sooner burn Orbis himself to get him back.

He doesn’t say anything that swims in his head, though. Instead, he just seems to mostly stay still, with just a small nod of acknowledgement to his request. ]

Inn folk who thought he wouldn't hear had compared them to that of a dead fish before. So it is a little surprising to hear.

But the thing that actually shocks him is the fact that this is coming from Vildred. Is this... something he's always thought about regarding Ras? He seems so genuine about it...??? Is this just feelings he'd kept to himself or... is this just what "love" does to humans????? He isn't unhappy to hear these words, of course, but if he truly had thought this about Ras this whole time... he feels foolish for not confiding his affections in him sooner.

His expression does not change much, but his whole face gets just a touch pinker. ]

[It's hard not to think Ras is the prettiest thing on the planet. Vildred is just, well, dumb about it. Historically. Idle fingertips drag down Ras' thighs, tracing soft skin, wanting to memorize the smoothness. Holy shit he is So Soft.]

Ras has seen them. Ras already knows the particular scar over his hip from a dodge gone awry, the ones on his back from where a monster tried to cut him down and failed, the rounder puncture scars on his upper arms and the thinner ones lacing his torso. For Vildred, though, it's a first.

And he STILL isn't dressed.]

[ This prompts fingers to gently touch the scar across Vildred’s face. It’s healed nicely since he’s been here. It’s likely not hurting anymore, either. Hopefully. ]
